We build the boring parts of security well.
Ragany is a small team building a password vault people actually use every day — without making it clever at the expense of usable.
It started with a spreadsheet of passwords.
Every team we worked with had the same file somewhere — a spreadsheet, a notes app, a document called passwords_final_v2. The proper tools asked for more effort than the problem seemed to deserve.
So we built the version we wanted: one account, and a vault that handles more than passwords — notes, cards and the documents that belong with them.
We are still small, we still answer our own support email, and we would rather ship one thing that works properly than five things that nearly do.
Four things we will not trade away.
We cannot read your data
Encryption happens on your device. If that ever stops being true, the product has failed at the one job it has.
No dark patterns
No countdown timers, no fake discounts, and cancelling takes the same two clicks as subscribing.
We answer our own email
Support goes to the people who build it. You will not be handed between three departments.
Boring beats clever
We would rather do the ordinary things reliably than add a feature nobody asked for.
Try the thing we built.
The vault is free and takes about two minutes to set up.
