Privacy Policy

To run your account we store your email address, an encrypted verification of your master password, your subscription status and basic billing records. The apps also report crash diagnostics, which you can switch off in Settings.

The contents of your vault: passwords, notes, documents, card details, file attachments and item names. These are encrypted on your device with a key derived from your master password, which never reaches our servers.

To create and maintain your account, sync your vault between your devices, take payment, answer your support messages, and send service notices such as a security advisory or a change to these terms. Nothing else.

We send product emails only if you opt in, and every one has a working unsubscribe link. Service and security notices are not marketing and cannot be switched off while you hold an account.

A small number of processors who help us operate: a payment provider, an email delivery provider, and cloud hosting. Each is bound by contract to process data only on our instructions. We never sell or rent personal data, and we never share your vault contents because we cannot read them.

Account and vault data are held with our hosting providers. Encrypted vault data is stored in the region attached to your account. Billing records may be processed by our payment provider outside that region.

Vault data lasts as long as your account. Delete your account and it is removed within 30 days, apart from billing records we are legally required to retain. Items you put in the bin are deleted permanently after 30 days.

Depending on where you live, you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to a particular use. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within one month.

The website uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language. Anything beyond that is optional and asked for separately — declining costs you nothing.
